Decoding Divine Timings:
A Deep Dive into the Biblical Calendar and Sabbath Observance.

Dailies
Day 1:
The Sabbath is a universal institution that is observed throughout the universe.
Jubilees 2:31
And they shall not bring in nor take out from house to house on that day; for that day is more holy and blessed than any jubilee day of the jubilees; on this we kept Sabbath in the heavens before it was made known to any flesh to guard the Sabbath thereon on earth.
YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 2:31 את CEPHER
The Sabbath is a sign between God and His property.
The Sign:
Gen 1:14
And God said: Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven, to make a separation between the day and the night; and let them serve as signs both for fixed times, as well as for days as well as years.
Exodus 31:13
Speak also unto the children of Yashar’el, saying, Truly את eth-my Shabbathoth ye shall guard: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am YAHUAH MEQODDISHKEM. (YAHUAH who sanctifies you)
Satan also wants a sign with his people, because Satan is a copycat. Everything God does, he wants to do and be. That is why we see in Dan 7:25 that he wants to change times and laws, to be his times and laws.
Dan 7:25
And he shall speak great words against EL ELYON, and shall wear out the qodeshiym of EL ELYON, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a period of time and times and the dividing of time.
He did this (trying to change time and law) and taught his people other laws and gave them other times/calendars. So he changed God’s time for God’s Sabbath to the time of his sign with his property, namely the Fri/Sat Sabbath and the Sunday Sabbath.
(I can now hear in my mind how people are jumping up and down in dismay. Give me a chance, let me finish explaining and then you decide. Father is warning us, it is because of a lack of knowledge that My people are going to ruin.)
Day 2:
How do we know when is God’s Sabbath, which He has given us?
He gives us the indications in His Word. In many places, which I will pass on as we progress.
It starts with Gen 1:14 where He tells us His times work with the Sun, Moon, and Stars.
He clearly calls it a SIGN, something we can see, and no entity can tamper with or change, not even Satan. God’s signs are fixed and unchanging, for us in Heaven to SEE. There can be no doubt about it if you believe and accept God’s Word.
The Sabbath is not a Jewish Sabbath either. The heavenly beings sustained it even before any flesh sustained it. We read this in Jubilees 2:31. God did give the Sabbath to Israel later as His people to keep and not to the other nations. But it remains God’s Sabbath and we cannot say it is a Jewish institution. It was only given to them as God’s people, to maintain.
Now why do we keep the Sabbath (albeit the wrong one) if we are not Israel?
In the Old Testament, God punished His people and scattered them over the earth, so that today no one knows where and who all the tribes are. But we know that if God lives in your heart, you MUST be part of His people. Therefore, it is written on our hearts and it comes back to the sign of God with His property. That sign is the Sabbath. If you have that mark, you are marked with God’s mark with His property!
It is also important to remember that God is not only going to save His people but also everyone from other people who accept Him as their savior. We see this clearly in Isaiah.
Isa 49:6
And he said, It is a light thing that you should be my servant to raise up את eth-the tribes of Ya`aqov, and to restore the preserved of Yashar’el: I will also give you for a light to the other nations, that you may be my yeshu`ah unto the end of the earth.
And we also read that every knee will bow and that the Sabbath and New Moon will be kept in Heaven in the hereafter. ‘Every knee shall bow’ shows us that it will not be just Israel.
Day 3:
I promised I would show you many places in the Word where we see when the ‘Sabbath of God’ is. Here it is and I will refer back to each where we discuss the relevant point. There is of course much more in the Word, but this is the backbone for me. It’s like pieces of a puzzle that fit together and you have to study to be able to build the puzzle. Why so cryptic you ask? The word tells us so that those who should hear will hear and those who should not hear will not hear.
- Gen 1:14 And ELOHIYM said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for appointed feasts, and for days, and years:
- Eze 46:1 THUS says ADONAI YAHUAH; The gate of the inner court that looks toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Shabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the New Moon it shall be opened.
- Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from New Moon to his New Moon, and from Shabbath to his Shabbath, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says YAHUAH.
- Amo 8:5 Saying, When will the New Moon be gone, that we may sell grain? and the Shabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the sheqel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
- Psa 104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.
- 1Sa 20:5 And David said unto El-Yahunathan, Behold, tomorrow is the New Moon, and I should not fail to sit with the king to eat: but let me go, that I may hide myself in the field unto the third day at evening.
- Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day, or of the New Moon, or of the Shabbath:
- Jos 6:15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed את eth-the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.
Day 4:
How do we know the Fri/Sat Sabbath and the Sunday Sabbath are false? Firstly from the aforementioned from the Word.
Secondly, so much has been written about Sunday that I’m not going to repeat it. You can look it up.
Fri/Sat I feel deserves to be touched upon again. People stake their eternal salvation on believing this lie and then refer to all sorts of worldly theories that cannot be supported, even citing NASA, that the 7th day of creation has been preserved without interruption and that it is the current Fri/Sat.
The Englishman speaks of a ‘chain of custody’. There is absolutely no ‘chain of custody’, no one can say this is true. There is NO record.
Yahuah gave Moses the calendar in
Exo 12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Israel has forgotten all about the calendar and does not even know the Shabbat, never mind when it is. They had to be taught in the desert for 40 years when Shabbath was. This was more than a thousand years after creation. The fact that Yahuah had to tell Moses and Aaron when the first month started, is proof that no record was kept since creation up to then. So no one can argue, that Israel kept a careful record of the 7th day since creation. Yahuah had to tell them when the month started.
When you study the Holy calendar, you’ll see it’s impossible for the 7th day to be uninterrupted every 7 days. The word teaches us every month ends with a new moon and the month is reset to a new month. This reset period takes time and can take 1 or 2 days.
We’ll discuss it again later, but for now, if there’s a new moon day, which the Word mentions so often, the Sabbath cannot be every 7 days consecutively. The 4th commandment tells us, to work 6 days and rest the 7th day. It doesn’t say every 7 days is Sabbath.
The word tells us there are three types of days: 6 Workdays, Sabbath, and New Moon. (Eze 46:1 as quoted above)
There aren’t just two types and the third must be taken into account/ incorporated, so the Sabbath cannot be every 7 days consecutively.
Day 5:
I will go ahead and explain further.
The moon takes 29.5 days to make one revolution. This means some months have 29 days and other months have 30 days to average 29.5.
A month consists of 4 weeks of seven days. 6 of those you work, and the 7th you rest. That gives us 28 days.
What happens to the 29th day (in a 29-day month), or the 29th and 30th day (in a 30-day month)?
Those are the New Moon days, the time it takes to reset the month to the new month. And what’s so wonderful about it is that the Father shows us precisely with the first visible crescent moon when these days are over!
So, we see it’s not just futile to believe people that the 7th day has been continuously kept from the time of creation, but also that the Word shows us it’s impossible. It’s simply a lie born in hell, and so many people unwaveringly believe what the world tells them. And we know the world is Satan himself.
Then there’s the testimony of Jewish Rabbis who say this is the case. But these same Rabbis operate on the Holy calendar determined by the moon, to plot the Holy feast days.
So they have two calendars. One for their Sabbaths and another for their Holy Feast days. But it sometimes works against them, and that’s why they released a set of rules, which they call, ‘the rules of postponement‘.
This is now for when their feast calendar doesn’t work out and clashes with their weekly Sabbath calendar. Go Google it, I won’t explain the ‘rules of postponement’ here.
Another thing I want to explain to you is the two groups of Sunday and Friday/Sat set by the Roman Catholic Church.
They, the Catholics, state outright that Sunday is not the biblical Sabbath and that if you want to keep the biblical Sabbath, you should make Friday/Sat your day of worship.
Now why are they so brave to admit Sunday is not the biblical Sabbath? The answer is simple. They introduced the false Fri/Sat hundreds of years ago. Then, hundreds of years later, after Friday/Saturday was well accepted (even by the Rabbi’s) and the Heavenly calendar was forgotten, they introduced Sunday.
So they know both days are false, and if you switch from one to the other, you still keep their day. Well, I think I’ve now explained enough for those who can hear about the deception with the calendars and that God’s calendar, just one calendar, not two, is based on the moon, sun, and stars high in the Heaven where no one can change it.
This one calendar syncs 100% with both the Sabbaths and the Holy Feast days. There’s no need for a set of rules to ensure that days don’t clash.
Then there’s only one thing left, and that’s to choose. Do you choose the deceiver’s mark, or do you choose God’s mark on His property?
Day 6:
Let’s learn how the Heavenly calendar works. When is the beginning of the year? Exo 12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
This is what the Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, before the exodus.
We know that the beginning of the year in the Northern Hemisphere is during spring. We know this because of the grain festival which occurs around the same time, and there needs to be fresh barley.
Now, many people, especially Jews, will say that the Lord spoke and referred to the barley. But that’s not true. That year, there was no barley in Egypt because the hail destroyed everything.
But it was spring. How do we know when it’s spring? Spring is the transition from winter to summer. By the way, the Bible doesn’t mention spring or autumn harvest. The Bible only talks about summer and winter.
Back to the point. It was the transition period from winter to summer. How do we know, using the sun, moon, and stars when we transition from summer to winter?
By the equinox. It’s the day the sun is precisely over the equator. It then starts moving north or south. When it heads north, it means summer is approaching in the Northern Hemisphere, in other words, spring. So, we know that spring or the beginning of the year is connected to the summer equinox, which is around March 20-21 every year.
Day 7:
To determine the start of the year, we look at the equinox as one criterion.
But we also know that the 14th/15th day of the first month is one of God’s major feasts and also the time of Jesus’s crucifixion. We also know the time of Jesus’s crucifixion was the same time the lamb was slaughtered in Egypt and its blood was smeared on the door frame. Thus, there’s no doubt about this 14th/15th day.
But what does this have to do with the equinox? Well, it’s a full moon on the 14th/15th/16th day of the month. So when we begin the first month, we must have a full moon 14/15 days later in the same month.
Thus, the sun and moon tell us when it’s the first month of the year. It also turns out that there are 12 months in a year, but every 3-4 years, there’s a 13th month, and the sun and moon show this to us as well by means of the equinox and when the year starts!
So, what we’re saying is:
The first month of the year is the month when the first visible crescent moon is closest to the equinox, and the 14th day of that month should be after the equinox.
(the full moon being after the equinox, tells us this full moon is in spring).
Day 8:
We have now seen when a year starts.
When does a month start? A month starts with the New Moon. What is a new moon? As already mentioned, a month consists of 29 or 30 days. That’s the lifespan of a moon. The moon is ‘born’, it grows, then gets old, and then it dies, and a new one is born.
The moment the moon dies is when all its light disappears, and it is reborn the next moment when light starts to grow on it again. This is called the ‘conjunction of the moon’ in astronomical terms, or just ‘conjunction’.
This first light that starts to grow on it is so faint, that it cannot be seen with the naked eye, so we wait until this light becomes visible to the naked eye. This is called the ‘First Visible Crescent’, abbreviated as FVC.
But I told you, the birth of the moon happens when the light starts to grow on it, which occurs a moment after ‘conjunction’. So, the New Moon starts with ‘Conjunction’, and the birth phase is over when we can observe it with our naked eyes.
Thus, when we see the FVC, it’s the SIGN in the sky that the New Moon period is over and that it was the first day of the month. It’s also a SIGN that the following day is the first workday of the month/week.
Therefore, again, Gen 1:14 is ‘true’ (correct) in that the moon shows us the day of the month.
Gen 1:14 And ELOHIYM said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for appointed feasts, and for days, and years:
When you study Lev 23, you will see that the Shabbath is part of the appointed feasts.
Day 9:
We now know when a year starts and when a month starts.
How do we know when the Sabbath is?
We count!
Work 6 days, rest on the seventh. So, we work on days 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 (that’s 6 days)
And rest on day 8. (Sabbath)
We repeat this for 4 weeks, then start with the new cycle of the new moon.
When we count and note all the days, we see that days 8, 15, 22, and 29 are Sabbaths.
ALWAYS!
Day 10:
This is also confirmed in many places in the Word.
I’ll now give an example of where the Sabbath falls on the 15th day. By proving one day, you mathematically prove the other three. The Word often mentions the 8th day, the 15th day, and the 22nd day, but never the 29th day. We say, the Word doesn’t shed light on that day, just as there is no light on the moon visible on the 29th day.
Proof that the 15th and 22nd days are Sabbaths is from Exodus 16 and the establishment of the Sabbath in the desert.
Exo 16:1 AND they took their journey from Eylim, and all the assembly of the children of Yashar’el came unto the wilderness of Ciyn, which is between Eylim and Ciynai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Mitsrayim.
I will briefly tell you what happened here. Read the whole chapter yourself and see that it is so.
The people began to murmur to Moses and Aaron about food. Yahuah heard it and told Moses and Aaron that that evening, remember, it’s the 15th, He would give them meat in the form of quails, and the next morning there would be manna.
The manna will be there for 6 days; on the seventh day, there will be none.
First, I want to talk about the evening of the 15th.
A Sabbath is from dawn to sunset and not from evening to evening as the Rabbis want to teach us. I have a separate study on this and will share it. (In fact, I’ve already shared it)
The greatest proof of this is the day of atonement, which is the only Sabbath in the Bible that stretches from evening to evening, and this then proves that a day is from morning to the following morning.
The day of atonement is also not a weekly Sabbath because it falls on the 9th and 10th day of the month.
In the gospels (during Jesus’ crucifixion), we also see that a Sabbath is from morning to evening. More about that in a separate study. Now I just want to point out that the quails came in the evening, i.e., after the Sabbath had passed.
You can’t yet see that the 15th was a Sabbath, but hold on, I’m going to show you.
There are many more examples, and if you search, you’ll find them. I conclude that the Sabbath falls on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th day of the month.
Day 11:
End of the month!
We’ve already discussed that a month can have 29 or 30 days.
When a month ends on the 29th day, it’s a Sabbath, and the next day is the 1st day of the month, the New Moon day.
The crescent moon is visible the evening after the 29th day, which then makes it the 1st day. In this case, we have two worship days in succession. Sabbath is a day of worship, and the New Moon is a day of worship.
Remember, the temple gates are open on the Sabbath and on the New Moon and closed on workdays.
When a month has 30 days, the Sabbath is the 29th day, the 30th day marks the beginning of the new moon, and the 1st day marks the end of the new moon.
A New Moon crescent is visible at the end of the first day. In this case, we now have three worship days in succession:
the Sabbath and two new moon days, the 30th and the 1st.
Here I want to refer you back to the 6th verse I gave at the beginning, namely 1Sa 20:5. Here we see an example in the Bible of a new moon period that was 2 days. Please read 1 Sam 20 carefully and see if you understand it.
Day 12:
Let’s look again at the 8 verses I provided at the beginning and discuss what I haven’t discussed yet.
Day 13:
The 1st verse has already been discussed.
The 2nd verse has already been discussed.
The 3rd verse shows us that the Sabbath and the new moon will always be observed and will never fall away.
The 4th verse is a very interesting one, and you will experience it physically when you start following the Holy Calendar. Here we hear how the merchants complain and can’t wait for the two or three worship days to pass so that they can trade again.
Even in today’s life, it is something to get used to if you have to not work for income or trade for three consecutive days. Remember, on a Sabbath, you may not work, but on a new moon day, you may do necessary things, such as cooking. However, you may not do things like trading and generating income.
The 5th verse is beautiful, and its meaning becomes clear when you start looking out for the first crescent moon. Then you see the Father’s sign in the sky, the crescent moon, and at the same time, the sun has just set. The Father’s sign is then visible in the red glow of the setting sun. The sun knows it must set so that the Father’s sign can become visible.
In the 6th verse, we discussed, the two new moon days.
In the 7th verse, Paul says not to be bothered by criticism from the world when we follow the Holy calendar or when we stick to ‘clean’ food.
The 8th verse is very interesting. It deals with Joshua, who had to walk around Jericho for seven days to conquer Jericho. If you work for seven days by walking around the city and blowing horns, you will surely work on the Sabbath, and the Father will never force you to work on the Sabbath, right?
So how does it work? It shows us that they started on the new moon day, on the 1st day of the month, and finished on the 7th. The 8th day was the Sabbath!
Day 14:
So, now you know how to use the heavenly calendar.
But I don’t expect you to see and understand everything right away. You will have to read a lot and answer questions for yourself through study. You will have to plot calendars yourself based on Lev. and Deut. where the festivals are given and see that everything syncs up 100%.
You will have to overcome the deception of many years and see that a day is from sunrise to sunrise and the Sabbath from sunrise to sunset.
You will have to come to the conclusion that Jesus was not in the tomb for a full three days and three nights. This was a tough one for me. But when I saw how everything syncs up and read that it was just a way of speaking in those days, I accepted it.
In those days, three days and nights meant any part of a day. It wasn’t necessarily a full day and night. We see that Jesus was crucified on the 14th day, was in the tomb on the 15th day, and rose early on the 16th day.
Thus, not a full three days and three nights in the tomb. You will also encounter many counterarguments. Like about the manna in the desert. What happened to the manna on the new moon, as it only fell for 6 days? What did the people eat on the new moon? The answer is that they still had other food besides manna. For example, they traveled with their cattle, small livestock, and poultry. The pressure was now much less on their food supplies because they depended only on it one or two days a month. ‘The World Last Chance’ (WLC) ministries have a very good video on YouTube about this.
Day 15:
And then you will find yourself in a fierce debate about when the new moon actually is. There are 4 views on this matter.
- The new moon is the first sunrise after the ‘conjunction’.
- The new moon ends with the FVC. This is the first day, and the next day is the 1st workday. This is what I’ve taught you here.
- The 1st day of the month, i.e., the new moon day, is the day after the FVC is observed.
- The new moon is the day of the full moon. (I reject this one entirely. The full moon is not ‘new’.)
My advice is to plot all the methods and figure out what works for you. I did this with a set of data I kept over a period of 4 years, and it’s available online if you’d like to look at it. Contact me and just ask. I also want to point out that it is written that we will forget the Sabbaths and new moons and will be mistaken about them as well as years and Jubilees.
YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 6:34-38 את CEPHER
And all the children of Yashar’el will forget and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the New Moons, and seasons, and Shabbathoth and they will go wrong as to all the order of the years. For I know and from henceforth will I declare it unto you, and it is not of my own devising; for the cepher lies written before me, and on the heavenly tablets the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant and walk according to the feasts of the other nations after their error and after their ignorance. For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon how it disturbs the seasons and comes in from year to year ten days too soon. For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb the order, and make an abominable day the day of testimony, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the holy with the unclean, and the unclean day with the holy; for they will go wrong as to the months and Shabbathoth and feasts and jubilees. For this reason I command and testify to you that you may testify to them; for after your death your children will disturb them, so that they will not make the year three hundred and sixty four days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the New Moons and seasons and Shabbathoth and feasts, and they will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh. YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 6:34-38 את CEPHER
While I’m talking about jubilees, you probably know what a jubilee is and what it means. It’s every 50 years. I’m not entirely familiar with it myself and am first focusing on Sabbaths, New Moons, and Feast days.
Regarding being mistaken. I’m not saying I understand everything, and I could be wrong here and there.
Scripture says so.
But what choice do we have? We must choose, the Father’s calendar or Satan’s calendar.
It’s also written that the heavenly beings watch us for which day we worship, and so they know who we worship. If I have to say where I read this, I’d have to lie, but that’s what I believe.
I must also admit, that the calendar has many more facets than I can think of or understand. Genesis 1:14 tells us, sun, moon, and stars. I have no idea about the function of the stars yet.
